Yesterday, the Revd Rebecca Ogus, who previously held Permission to Officiate (PTO) in our diocese, was appointed Chaplain of St John's Winchester.
We also welcome the Revd Carol Dunk, previously Deanery Minister of Burnham and Slough in the Diocese of Oxford, who will be becoming Associate Minister of Pastrow on 3 June at St Peter's Church, Hurstbourne Tarrant, and the Revd Julian Poppleton, Assistant Priest in Harnham in the Diocese of Salisbury, who will be become Chaplain (no longer acting Chaplain) of Winchester Cathedral on 4 May. |
We are saying goodbye and thank you to the following clergy who are retiring: the Revd Marion De Quidt, Rector of Whitewater and Area Dean of Odiham, the Revd Jonathan Williams, Assistant Minister of Benefice of Four Saints, and the Revd Tim Bell, Associate Minister of Overton Benefice.
We also say goodbye and thank you to Revd Canon Fiona Grove, Chaplain of the University of Winchester, who will be becoming Rector of Shedfield and Wickham in the Diocese of Portsmouth, the Revd Clive Beard, Assistant Curate of Hedge End St Luke, who will be becoming the Vicar of St Stephen's Preston in the Diocese of Blackburn, and the Revd Sheena Williams, Rector of North Stoneham & Bassett, who is becoming Tutor in Contextual Learning at Sarum College. |
Please pray for all our new and departing clergy, that God will guide them as they take their next steps on the path He has called them to. |
